Custom Domains & Sending Profiles
Claimify allows you to use your own domain for sending emails, ensuring high deliverability and consistent branding.
Domain Verification
To send emails from your own domain (e.g., support@yourdomain.com), you must verify your domain using DNS records. This process uses Resend as the underlying delivery infrastructure.
1. Add Your Domain
In the Customization -> Domains tab:
- Click "Add Domain".
- Enter your domain name (e.g.,
yourdomain.com). - Select your preferred sending region.
2. Configure DNS Records
Once the domain is added, Claimify will generate a set of DNS records (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC). You must add these records to your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare).
- Type: TXT or CNAME.
- Host/Name: The subdomain provided (usually
resend). - Value: The security key generated for your domain.
3. Verification status
Click "Verify Domain" after adding the records. It can take up to 24-48 hours for DNS changes to propagate globally, but it usually happens within minutes.
- Pending: Records not yet detected.
- Verified: You are ready to send!
- Failed: Check for typos in your DNS settings.
Custom Sending Profile
After your domain is verified, you can customize how your emails appear in the customer's inbox.
- From Name: The name shown to the customer (e.g., "Your Store Support").
- From Email: Choose a specific username (e.g.,
claims@yourdomain.com). - Reply-To: Set a dedicated address for customer replies to ensure they reach your support team.
- CC Emails: Automatically copy your team on all outgoing claim notifications.
Why Verify Your Domain?
- Deliverability: Verified domains are much less likely to land in the customer's spam folder.
- Trust: Customers are more likely to open an email from
support@yourbrand.comthan a generic system address. - Branding: Removes the "via resend.net" or "via claimify.app" labels in many email clients.
Custom domains and sending profiles are available on the Business plan.
